In celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month in May, GAACC presents Ovation, our annual gala to recognize businesses and organizations who have contributed to the economic success of the region, as well as APA individuals and organizations who have achieved uncommon success and/or are working to make our community a better place for all.
Our APA community has hosted an annual awards banquet for 20 years and we are proud to be the most prestigious Asian business event in Central Texas. This annual celebration attracts about 500 prominent government officials, corporate leaders, entrepreneurs and influential community leaders from the area and major Asian business centers worldwide.
We are proud to announce that this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award recipient is William Wang, founder and CEO of VIZIO, Inc. Previous honorees include The Honorable Christopher Lu, United States Deputy Secretary of Labor, and Manoj Saxena, founding managing partner of The Entrepreneur's Fund.
Ovation will be held in downtown Austin, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and will be a spectacular evening of socializing and networking. The event will include a variety of entertainment and casual networking and will conclude with an After Party designed to foster business connections.
